I took this photograph through a glass of water. It was easy, I got up off the couch, went to the kitchen, and I poured some water in a glass. I set it in front of my window, pulled up the blinds, found a focus that I liked and took the photo. I always have access to this life-giving substance, and how often do I take it for granted? Knowing that there are millions of people in Africa that could never have taken a photo like this because they lack access to water … which in turn makes them lack access to life itself. So this is why I join with blood:water mission to take the 40 days of water challenge. Drink water for 40 days, save the money you would have spent on sugary drinks and donate at http://40days.bloodwatermission.com - also tag your photos #40days at the end of #40days I’ll choose my favorite #40days of water photo and send you a custom print! Have fun!
